New Disney’s Haunted Mansion Trailer Teases Laughs And Scares!

Take the ride to the other side, as Disney release a full UK Trailer for their frighteningly fun Haunted Mansion. A trailer that teases a film that will have you laughing maybe even screaming too!

Disney fans will know this new version is not the first time they have brought the iconic ride to the big screen. 20 years ago in 2003 there was a version with the cast led by Eddie Murphy, it wasn’t a total disaster it was also very forgettable too.

This time we have a brand new cast featuring LaKeith Stanfield. Justin Simien (Dear White People, Bad Hair) is directing this one hopes to guide his version away from the 2003 version and will still homage to the ride. Very playful on the mix of horror and comedy, some jump scares for the kids but not to overly scare the bejesus out of them.

Rosario Dawson plays the woman who will move into the mansion with her son. Only to find out she has many uninvited guests in her home, only call out from help from spiritual specialists…

Inspired by the classic theme park attraction, “Haunted Mansion” is about a woman and her son who enlist a motley crew of so-called spiritual experts to help rid their home of supernatural squatters. The film’s producers are Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich, with Nick Reynolds and Tom Peitzman serving as executive producers.

The reast of the cast includes Tiffany Haddish, Owen Wilson, Dan Levy, Danny DeVito, Rosario Dawson, Chase W. Dillon, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Jared Leto as The Hatbox Ghost.

Disney’s Haunted Mansion will arrive in the UK and Ireland 11th August (28th July in U.S).
