New Barbie Trailer Is All About Ken
It’s nearly time to head to Barbie Land and Warner Bros want to remind us it’s not all about the titular character. They have also released a fun new Trailer for the film called ‘Just Ken‘ that wants you to enjoy the spectacle but also sing a long!
Margo Robbie stars in the titular role based on the iconic toy doll with Ryan Gosling as Ken. She finds herself in the middle of an existential crisis when she realises there maybe a whole new world waiting outside her ‘perfect’ Barbie Land.
As we said the focus of this what plays more like a music video promo is all about that platinum companion. Ken is useless, but he also comes in many other shapes and sizes. His self-esteem is as low as you can get , Barbie of course reminds her companion it’s just her not her and Ken.
There is a few early reactions to the first reviews who have been calling to campy overblown fun. Just what we expected!

To live in Barbie Land is to be a perfect being in a perfect place. Unless you have a full-on existential crisis. Or you’re a Ken.
The film also stars America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Michael Cera, Ariana Greenblatt, Issa Rae, Rhea Perlman, Will Ferrell, Ana Cruz Kayne, Emma Mackey, Hari Nef, Alexandra Shipp, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Simu Liu, Ncuti Gatwa, Scott Evans, Jamie Demetriou, Connor Swindells, Sharon Rooney, Nicola Coughlan, Ritu Arya, Dua Lipa and Helen Mirren.
The wait is nearly over, in 11 days time Barbie will be released in UK, Irish and US Cinemas from 21st July.
