New Alien: Covenant 'Gruesome' Clip Sees The Return Of The Facehugger

Alien: Covenant is now in UK & Irish Cinemas (Friday 19th for the U.S.) and we won’t deny the movie is dividing the cinephiles this side of the Atlantic. If you’re still a bit unsure if you should go see this sequel to Prometheus (prequel to the original Alien movie), this new ‘gruesome’ clip from 20th Century Fox. The clip may be a little dark but tread with caution as it marks the return of an iconic creature…The Facehugger!

Ridley Scott returns to the universe he created, with ALIEN: COVENANT, a new chapter in his groundbreaking ALIEN franchise. The crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.
