Netflix’s Lost Ollie Trailer Unearths The Child In Us All

The greatest adventures are the ones that bring us home. Later this month one of those adventures Lost Ollie will arrive. Tonight Netflix have released the official Trailer that unearths the child in us all.

I maybe in my 40’s, I’m man enough to admit when I was young I had a toy called Monkey. Most kids do and will do until the end of days. This has a big Toy Story vibe, if anything we wouldn’t be surprised if it gets bleaker.

This series series comes from Kubo And The Two Strings creator Shannon Tindle and Spider-man: Into The Spider-Verse Peter Ramsey. Shawn Levy (Stranger Things) is producing based on a William Joyce book, Ollie’s Odyssey.

Jonathan Groff is the voice of our elusive lost toy Ollie. Kelser Talbot is the boy he seeks, when he stolen after his owner is bullied. The bully steals him and loses him with both searching for each other, they are friends off course!

This is a family adventure series which will bring a tear to anyone. Warm those heart strings which might also bring a few lessons in life. Besides the Toy Story inspiration, it also has a Homeward Bound one too.

Lost Ollie is an epic adventure about a lost toy who braves the many dangers of childhood as he searches the countryside to reunite with the boy who lost him; and the story of the boy who lost more than a best friend. It’s a heartwarming tale for the child in us all, remembering those special souls that we’ve lost but who forever changed our lives.

The cast also includes Gina Rodriguez, Jake Johnson, Tim Blake Nelson, Mary J. Blige, and BJ Harrison. Lost Ollie will arrive on 24th August, dropping 10 episodes.
