Netflix’s Dan Levy Series Big Mistakes Trailer Revealed

Netflix have just announced their new comedy series Big Mistakes – the latest show from Schitt’s Creek co-creator and Emmy award-winning Dan Levy– and you can watch it below!

The show will place a bold, new comedic family saga within a high-stakes crime thriller. The story follows Nicky (Levy) and Morgan (Taylor Ortega), two deeply incapable siblings who are in over their heads, when a misguided theft for their dying grandmother accidentally pulls them into the world of organised crime. After being blackmailed into increasingly dangerous assignments, they soon fail upwards, sinking deeper into chaos they’re not equipped to handle.

The family crime comedy is the first series from Levy’s overall deal with Netflix and marks a new chapter for his Not a Real Production Company. “I’m so excited to be bringing this truly chaotic family story to life with Netflix,” Levy says.

“I’m thrilled with the team we’re building both behind the scenes and in front of the camera. Taylor Ortega is going to become a household name, and it’s been my life’s mission to get to call Laurie Metcalf ‘mother.’ Looking forward to getting to share this with everyone.”

Levy, who made his feature debut with Good Grief, will also serve as showrunner and executive produce the series alongside co-creator Rachel Sennott(I Love L.A., Bottoms). The wider includes, Laurie Metcalf(Lady Bird, Scream 2, Roseanne, Hacks), Jack Innanen(Adults, The Office Movers) as Max, Boran Kuzum(Thank You, Next, Bihter: A Forbidden Passion) as Yusuf, Abby Quinn (Hell of a Summer, Knock at the Cabin) as Natalie, Elizabeth Perkins (Weeds, Sharp Objects) as Annette, Jacob Gutierrez (Dear Edward, Bull) as Tare, Joe Barbara (Just in Time, FBI) as Mike and Mark Ivanir (Emilia Pérez, Zero Day) as Ivan.

Big Mistakes streams on Netflix from April 9th.
