The Thursday Murder Club (Police)

We’ve been hearing a lot of great things about Richard Osman‘s 2020 novel, The Thursday Murder Club. Last year Netflix announced  they are about to make the acclaimed novel into a feature with Chris Columbus directing. Today the streamer announce that film will launch on the channel in August, today we get a first look at the film.

The Thursday Murder Club follows a group of retirees who love spending time solving cold case murders for fun. When a murder happens in their village the fun becomes business and find out whodunnit.

The club members are made up of Helen Mirren (ex-spy Elizabeth), Sir Ben Kingsley (ex-psychiatrist Ibrahim) Pierce Brosnan (former union activist Ron) and Celia Imrie (ex-nurse Joyce).

The Thursday Murder Club will launch exclusively on Netflix on 28th August.
