The Witcher series might only have a couple seasons left, Netflix are keeping the franchise alive with animated features like The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep.
At today’s Geeked Week in Atlanta USA , Netflix released an exclusive clip from the Sirens of the Deep. More importantly they announced the animated feature will be released on the channel on 11th February 2025.
The Sirens Of The Deep is based on the short story by Andrzej Sapkowski called A Little Sacrifice. What we know is this animated feature takes place sometime during the first season of The Witcher.
The clip itself was introduced by Doug Cockle (the voice of Geralt of Rivia). This official promo has Geralt (Cockle) and Jaskier (voiced by Joey Batey) both sitting around a campfire enjoying the catch from the hunt. However things get a bit heated when comments start to fly.
Look out for Joey Batey, who will be reprising his role as Jaskier in the upcoming remaining The Witcher live action series! This feature was created by South Korean animation studio Studio Mir who created The Legend of Korra, Voltron: Legendary Defender, The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, X-Men ’97.
Geralt of Rivia, a mutated monster hunter, is hired to investigate a series of attacks in a seaside village and finds himself drawn into a centuries-old conflict between humans and merpeople. He must count on friends — old and new — to solve the mystery before the hostilities between the two kingdoms escalate into all-out war.
The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep will stream globally on Netflix from 11th February 2025.
