MUBI Set To Release Mia Hansen-Løve’s One Fine Morning Watch Clip

One Fine Morning out in UK 14th April 2023 on MUBI

Boutique global streaming service and distributor MUBI have announce they are set to release Mia Hansen-Løve’s One Fine Morning.

It’s no surprise MUBI have picked this drama up thanks to the last release, Bergman’s Island. This one is more a low key affair compared to previous films, it’s also very personal to the director as well. Inspired by the death of her father.

One Fine Morning stars James Bond actor Léa Seydoux. She plays a young mother who stuck in what direction to go. Care for her sick father or just concentrate raising her daughter, things get more complicated when she has an affair.

As we wait for the official UK Trailer, check out this newly released clip

Synopsis | Set in Paris, Seydoux plays Sandra – a young, widowed mother who juggles her job as a translator with caring both for her young daughter and elderly father. Sandra’s life is further complicated when she embarks on a passionate affair with Clement, an old friend in an unhappy marriage. Also starring Melvil Poupaud and Pascal Gregory, this is a gently poignant romantic drama shot through with the director’s characteristically charming touch.

One Fine Morning is a profoundly moving portrayal of love, loss and contemporary womanhood, featuring a career-best performance from Léa Seydoux.

The film also stars Pascall Greggory, Melvil Poupard, Nicole Garcia, and Camille Leban Martins. One Fine Morning will be in UK and Irish cinemas from 14th April, then exclusively on MUBI from 6th June. If you live close to Glasgow, the film will make it’s Scottish premiere at the Glasgow Film Festival on 8th April [More info].
