MUBI Announce Release Date For Bring Them Down, Watch Teaser Trailer

Barry Keoghan and Christopher Abbott star in Christopher Andrews directorial debut…

Barry Keoghan is hot property and is one his way up up and UP. Bring Them Down is his next film and MUBI today announce it’s release as well as the film’s First (teaser) Trailer.

The film marks Christopher Andrews directorial feature debut, which is set for a February 2025 cinema release. The film has been picking up some solid reviews since it’s debut at Toronto FIlm Festival which also stars Christopher Abbott.

Bring Them Down is a story of two feuding farming families in present-day rural Ireland. Michael (Abbott) living an isolated life with his father and a terrible secret burdens him. Rival farming family son Jack (Keoghan) stirs things up triggering a chain of events leaving everyone altered.

From Banshees Of Inisherin, Eternals and more recently Saltburn, people want more of the Irish actor. You wonder what his status would have been if he chose Gladiator II?!

Michael (Christopher Abbott), the last son of a farming family, lives an isolated existence with his ailing, cantankerous father Ray. Burdened by a terrible secret from his past, Michael has isolated himself from the world and dedicates himself to his prized flock. When the ongoing conflict with rival farmer Gary and his wayward and unpredictable son Jack (Barry Keoghan) stirs old tensions and grievances, it triggers a chain of events that take increasingly violent and devastating turns, leaving both families permanently altered.

The film also stars Colm Meaney (The Problem with People, Layer Cake), Nora-Jane Noone (The Magdalene Sisters, Brooklyn), Paul Ready (A Gentleman in Moscow, Motherland) and Susan Lynch (Enduring Love, Waking Ned Devine). Bring Them Down will be released in UK and Irish cinemas from 7th February 2025.
