MUBI Announce Home Entertainment Dates For One Fine Morning & Return To Seoul

Boutique distributor MUBI have announced the upcoming home entertainment releases for two of their critically acclaimed films, One Fine Morning and Return To Seoul.

One Fine Morning received its World Premiere at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival where Mia Hansen-Løve won the Directors’ Fortnight prize; it has also received a Best Feature nomination at 2022 Chicago International Film Festival. One Fine Morning’s lead actress Léa Seydoux recently received a nomination for Best European Actress at the 2022 European Film Awards.

One Fine Morning is a profoundly moving portrayal of love, loss and contemporary womanhood, featuring a career-best performance from Léa Seydoux.

Set in Paris, Seydoux plays Sandra – a young, widowed mother who juggles her job as a translator with caring both for her young daughter and elderly father. Sandra’s life is further complicated when she embarks on a passionate affair with Clement, an old friend in an unhappy marriage. Also starring Melvil Poupaud and Pascal Gregory, this is a gently poignant romantic drama shot through with the director’s characteristically charming touch.

Starring Oj Kwang-Rok (Oldboy) and Kim Sun-Young (Three Sisters), and introducing newcomer Park Ji-Min in the leading role, Return to Seoul received its World Premiere at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival under the Un Certain Regard section.

On an impulse to reconnect with her origins, Freddie, 25, returns to South Korea for the first time, where she was born before being adopted and raised in France. The headstrong young woman starts looking for her biological parents in a country she knows so little about, taking her life in new and unexpected directions.
