Will Mother Russia Be Co-Villian With Red Mist In KICK ASS 2?

This September Kick Ass 2: Balls To Walls will finally start filming after a few years of uncertainty with Aaron Johnson, Chloe Moretz back to play Kick Ass, Hit Girl with Christopher Mint-Plasse taken up role as villain Red Mist  however he may have company.  With casting agents searching high and low for new cast Moviehole is reporting they are searching for someone to play Mother Russia the muscle bound female bodyguard for Red Mist.

As you can see from the image above Mother Russia isn’t what you would call typical feminine physique and casting agents will be looking for female actress of similar traits to keep authentic as possible to the films source.They will be looking for a woman of the age group of 25- 40 , extremely tall, body building type physique though looking at the characters images from the graphic novels the height could be an issue for them.  I’m sure rumours will connect Game Of Thrones actress Gwendoline Christie who plays warrior Brienne of Tarth. Christie certainly has the looks, the stature however MMA come actress Haywire’s Gina Carano maybe another possible candidate she has the moves though she is only around 6 foot alot smaller than Christie.

Here’s the description of Mother Russia :

“Classic Villain. An ex-KBG officer who is now being paid by the week by Chris to fight in his group — she is easily the most skilled and just a ruthless killer in general. Described as a ‘roided-out female bodybuilder, she needs to be extremely physically imposing and muscular, though still come across as feminine. As tall as possible (6ft and over only). Indicate height on submission.”

Christopher Mintz-Plasse spoke about the upcoming film at Comic Con and the relief that some of the more controversial scenes from the story wont be in the film.

“It’s unbelievable. I’m the Motherfucker now, in this one. It’s incredible! There was one moment in the comic, where the Motherfucker rapes someone, but I don’t think we’re doing that. We’re doing a different aspect of it, and it’s a really funny version of it, but there’s no rape. I’m really happy about that.”

No official release date confirmed yet for Kick Ass 2 however if the filming is starting September we can expect the film to arrive sometime 2013.
