Lionsgate Films have released the film based on the inspirational true story.One of 2000 women who made a name a name for themselves as a military wives choir. Brought together through love, friendship and support on the home front. Brought together by friends played by Kristin Scott Thomas, Sharon Horgan.
This one may not win awards on originality, film is pure escapism that makes us feel good be it only for a couple of hours. Gareth Malone has made so many unexpected groups become sensations and these certainly sparked something big. The new Trailer gives us a little more insight into the film that hopes to warm our hearts in these cold, wet days…

The inspirational story of friendship, love, and support on the home front. A group of women come together as their partners serve in Afghanistan. Together they form the very first military wives choir, helping each other through some of lifeโs most difficult moments and also becoming a media sensation and global movement in the process. Peter Cattaneo (The Full Monty) directs Oscarยฎ Nominee and BAFTAยฎ Winner Kristin Scott Thomas (Darkest Hour) and BAFTAยฎ Nominee Sharon Horgan (Catastrophe) in this feel good crowd-pleaser.
The film also stars Greg Wise (A Private War) and Jason Flemyng (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels). Rounding out the cast and playing the military wives are Emma Lowndes (Downton Abbey), Gaby French (Victoria), Lara Rossi (Robin Hood), Amy James-Kelly (Safe) and India Ria Amarteifio (Line of Duty).
Military Wives will be released in the UK and Ireland from 6th March
