To many movie fans Jean-Pierre Juenet he’s an encentric, obscure but fantastically talented director to others may not know him. Juenet has created some of the best French movies to grace cinemas not just in in his native France but also cinemas worldwide. Movies like Amelie, A Long Engagement, The City of The Lost Children, Delicatessen and believe it or not Alien Ressurection.

His latest movie Micmacs( ร  tire-larigot) has been released nationwide today, a fantasy story of one mans plan to destroy to weapons manufacturers with a little help from his friends. The story is simple crazy, funny, slapstick, dark but wonderfully outlandish.

Our Blogging buddies Screenrush caught up with the director and has a chat about his movie and below the interview is the trailer for the movie as well.
