Melissa McCarthy Is Jason Bateman In Identity Thief Trailer

Jason Bateman must have a fetish or weird obsession with switching things like recently with The Change Up well he’s at it again but this time it’s stolen thanks to Melissa McCarthy, watch the first trailer for Identity Thief.

In Identity Thief Diana (Mccarthy) loves the life of luxury shopping til she drops maxing the credit cards out however , Diana is a con artist and the card she has maxed is not hers. The unlikely victim is Sandy Bigelow Patterson (Bateman) he lives in Denver and has been told he has a week to bring Diana back to Denver and sort everything out however Diana wont come back without a fight.

Thanks to her breakout role in Bridesmaids McCarthy nabbed this part which was originally created for male actor however and her co-star Bateman said she would be ideal for the role and looking at the evidence it looks a good move.Ill admit Ive never been a fan of Bateman’s deadpan humour but it’ McCarthy’s magnetism and comical timing that’s keeping us interested in this film as well as the hits of slapstick madness.

Identity Thief will arrive in UK&Ireland 1st March 2013 and also stars Jon Favreau, Amanda Peet, Tip “T.I.” Harris, Genesis Rodriguez, Morris Chestnut, John Cho, Robert Patrick, and Eric Stonestreet.
