Anyone up for seconds? In Ben Wheatley‘s Meg 2: The Trench first UK Trailer The Meg will be back for those seconds. This time it might not be alone, humanity might have to face 3 Megalodons!

We cannot deny The Meg was an unexpected success. Not for it’s high end acting or narrative, simply a totally bonkers escapism and this looks everything will up the ante. Ben Wheatley (The Kill List) directs this one with Jason Statham returning as Jonas Taylor. Returning for another rescue mission into the Mariana Trench only to find triple the danger lurk in the trench.

You would think after the first film they would learn not to muck about in the trench! Then again there would be no sequel if they did, can’t wait!
