Meet The Stokers In New Stoker Featurette & New Clip

It’s one of the most talked Hollywood debuts Park Chan-Wook’s Stoker will be with us in 2 weeks it will be out in UK, Ireland,USA so now let’s have a look at the unnerving Stoker family in new featurette.

Fox Searchlight have released a 3 minute featurette which dives into the Stoker  family subtleties most of all those family members that may not get a lot of screen time too.  I know the reviews haven’t been all too kind to the film  but there’s something distorted, untamed even visceral that attracts me to this film. In the new clip some of that what I love about the film you can see, an haunting atmospheric virtually silent clip that shows India (Mia Wasikowska) sharing a glass of wine with her Uncle Charlie (Matthew Goode), Stoker looks like an Lynchian homage to Alfred Hitchcock.

Stoker will be released in UK on 1st March and co-stars Nicole Kidman,Jackie Weaver, Dermont Mulroney,Jacki Weaver, Lucas Til,Alden Ehrenreich.

Synopsis

After India’s (Wasikowska’s) father dies in an auto accident, her Uncle Charlie (Goode), who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her emotionally unstable mother (Kidman). Soon after his arrival, she comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives, but instead of feeling outrage or horror, this friendless girl becomes increasingly infatuated with him.
