Meet Ben-Hur Characters In New Set Of Posters

As the word trickles out into social media about one remake/reboot Ghostbusters may not be positive reviews, next month an remake of an even more epic film gets a release, Ben-Hur. Remakes are part and parcel of filmmaking, so the pressure is on from those remake classics as epic as 1959 version to deliver something that’s entertaining but also respectful of the original source!

Since the promotion for film kicked off the focus was all on mostly Jack Huston, Toby Kebell and Morgan Freeman today we’ve been sent a number of new character posters which reveal the rest of the film’s main characters, check them out…

Ben-Hur is the epic story of Judah Ben-Hur (Jack Huston), a prince falsely accused of treason by his adopted brother Messala (Toby Kebbell), an officer in the Roman army. Stripped of his title, separated from his family and the woman he loves (Nazanin Boniadi), Judah is forced into slavery. After years at sea, Judah returns to his homeland to seek revenge, but finds redemption. Based on Lew Wallace’s timeless novel, Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ.

Ben-Hur is set for 26th August UK release date. The film also stars Morgan Freeman, Rodrigo Santoro Sofia Black D’Elia, Ayelet Zurer, Moisés Arias, Marwan Kenzari and Pilou Asbæk.
