Matt Reeves Next Movie Wont Cloverfield But Sci-fI 8o' Clock in The Morning

November 2010 Matt Reeves won of the praise of many when his Let Me In the Hollywood remake of the arthouse Swedish classic movie Let The Right One In was released. It was a shame that the movie never got the praise as its complimented the original  the loyal fanbase just couldnt get themselves to actually watch it, even when the movie got approval from the orignal movie director Thomas Alfredson. To show you how much credability it got Reeves he even made the shortlist for Man Of Steel aka Superman, so you may  ask then is it it Cloverfield 2 for the filmmaker? Well it is Sci-Fi but Im affraid it wont be Cloverfield 2 but 8o’Clock in the morning!

The movie will be for Universal Pictures and 8 O’Clock In The Morning is based on a Ray Nelson short story and you maybe saying to yourself that sounds familar? You will be right in thinking that way as the story was the foundation of the classic rowdy piper john carpenter made They Live as the movie centres around a man who wakes up and realises earth has been taken over by aliens and is surrounded by them controlling our society.Reeves isnt calling it a remake as he’ll do his own script and there wont be the use of glasses to spot the aliens.

if he can pull that off he’ll be onto another winner here but its a long way awy from even moving to stage 2 as theres no script been made yet and possibly the once Naomi Watts attached Invisble Woman could possibly be the next project. We’ll wait with curiousity at the next filmmaker to watch in the near future.
