It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything from Michael Bay’s Pain & Gain. Whilst the franchise that the Baymeister built Transformers stealing some of the light with 4th installment, Paramount have sent us a new UK poster and Clip to remind us he has a film out next before the robots arrive.

Before Mark Whalberg takes the human lead in T4 he plays musculeheadย ย Daniel a bodybuilder whose fed up with life who gets 2 other muscleheadโ€™s(ย Dwayne Johnson, Anthony Mackie) into anย extortion ring and a kidnapping scheme to live the American Dream but like all good plans they all go wrong.

The new clip below shows Daniel trying to sort out the men from the boys or boys who are the boys on the basketball court, we’ll say one thing Danny is competitive! Synopsis

From acclaimed director Michael Bay comes โ€œ Pain & Gain ,โ€ a new action comedy starring Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson and Anthony Mackie. Based on the unbelievable true story of three personal trainers in 1990s Miami who, in pursuit of the American Dream, get caught up in a criminal enterprise that goes horribly wrong. Ed Harris, Tony Shalhoub, Rob Corddry, Rebel Wilson and Bar Paly also star. The film is based on magazine articles by Pete Collins, with a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and produced by Donald DeLine, Michael Bay and Ian Bryce.

The Michael Bay directed film stars Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson, Anthony Mackie, Ed Harris, Rob Corddry, Tony Shalhoub, ย Rebel Wilson, Ken Jeong, and Yolanthe Cabau.

Pain & Gain is set to be released in the UK on August 30th, 2013.
