Mark Rylance Is The Tailor In The Outfit Home Release Details

The Outfit (2022)

Mark Rylance is one of those unsung character actors who is finally getting the recognition for his cinematic work as much as his stage performances. One of his big highlights was released earlier this year in cinemas Graham Moore’s mobster thriller The Outfit.

Film made it’s world premiere at Berlin Film Festival, with the UK Premiere at Glasgow Film Festival a few weeks later. The film is the directorial feature debut for Moore who made a name for himself as the writer of The Imitation Game. The Outfit is set in 1950’s Chicago, Leonard (Rylance), after learning his trade as a Tailor on Saville Row London. They will pay top dollar for one of his suit and he must outwit a dangerous group of mobsters in order to survive a fateful night.

The film is set for a home entertainment release in August and Dazzler Media have sent us this Trailer

Leonard (Mark Rylance) is a master tailor who left England to run an unassuming little shop in the windy city of Chicago. He now makes beautiful, hand-crafted garments for people who want the best and are willing to pay for it. His most loyal customers are a clan of vicious gangsters. They do say clothes maketh the man. Then one night there is a knock on the door. A favour is requested. A line is crossed. And all hell breaks loose.

The film also starsย Zoey Deutch, Dylan Oโ€™Brien, Johnny Flynn, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Simon Russell Beale,ย andย Alan Mehdizadeh.

Dazzler Media will release The Outfit on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD from 1st August in the UK and Ireland.
