Madonna’s W.E Finally Get’s Its First Trailer

I’ve always wonder if Madonna’s choice to go into film making was something out of an argument with her ex husband Guy Ritchie to prove a point she has the capability to create films just as good as him. Sadly for her the directorial side of her career has been nowhere near the wordwide success of her musical talent, actually its been disastrous and if to go by reviews of her current film W.E this one looks likely bad too, which is a shame because visually this looks fantastic. W.E is a story of 2 intertwining love stories one of the most scandalous affairs of British Royality the love affair between King Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson, which led to the royal’s abdication. The second love story sent in 1998 involving a woman Wally Winthrop who has her own problems to deal with whilst having a obsession with the Duchess of Windsor.

You can look at this film either way the 1998 story seems pointless towards The Royalty love affair or both stories just don’t connect properly, this looks like a period fashion show trying to disguise itself as a film. Sorry Madge I know your a tough cookie but on the impression of the first trailer all I can say is ‘don’t give up your day job as your a million times better at that!’.All we can hope is there’s a better second trailer which will put our minds at rest bring back a bit of positivity for now its pick up a microphone rather than a camera!

W.E is been released in UK&Ireland by Studio Canal (USA The Weinstein Company)on January 20th 2012 and stars Abbie Cornish, Oscar Isaac, Andrea Riseborough and James D’arcy.
