Mad Max: Fury Road Shares First Official Images Online

It’s been a long frustrated road but finally it now looks like Mad Max:Fury Road is now taking steps closer to becoming reality with the release of the official images and poster.

With Comic-Con San Diego about to kick off shortly what better time and place unleash the tease in the long awaited Mad Max follow up. Tom Hardy takes over the reigns from Mel Gibson in the titular character whom we know from his own filmography can hold his own as a bad ass lead role. Even if Gibson is not back for the fourth film director George Miller the man whose been behind the lens returns once again.

The new teaser poster doesn’t reveal anything apart from Mad Max looking into the distance but to what? We also get a glimpse at a shaved head of Charlize Theron as Furiosa whom the road warrior must face to survive. The question is what part of Mad Max will she play? All maybe revealed in Warner Bros Hall H this Saturday, will it be joined by the film’s first footage too?

It’s still just under a year away until the film’s release 15th May 2015 (UK&USA) but as the poster’s slogan says ‘what a lovely day’ its been after feasting our eyes on these bad boys! Mad Max:Fury Road also stars Nicholas Hoult, Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keough, Hugh Keays-Byrne and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

Synopsis

Mad Max: Fury Road is the fourth film of George Miller‘s Road Warrior/Mad Max franchise co-written and directed by Miller. The post-apocalyptic action film is set in the furthest reaches of our planet, in a stark desert landscape where humanity is broken, and most everyone is crazed fighting for the necessities of life. Within this world of fire and blood exist two rebels on the run who just might be able to restore order… There’s Max (played by Tom Hardy from The Dark Knight Rises), a man of action and a man of few words, who seeks peace of mind following the loss of his wife and child in the aftermath of the chaos. And… Furiosa (played by Charlize Theron from Prometheus), a woman of action and a woman who believes her path to survival may be achieved if she can make it across the desert back to her childhood homeland.
