Linda Lovelace Takes ‘First Steps Into Porn’ In New Lovelace Clip

Pornstar biopics are rarity as frankly many of them are nothing spectacular but occasionally their is one that turns to tragedy, a hard violent life.Linda Susan Boreman to her family to the world she was Linda Lovelace the woman who would become famous for her part in the 1970’s porn flick Deep Throat.Next Friday 23rd August Lovelace starring Amanda Seyfried as the titular character will arrive in UK cinemas and below we have 2 clips which show off her early days in the industry she would later become an opponent against.

Lovelace tells the tragic tale a young girl brought up in a strict Catholic home, who mingles with the wrong people none other than Chuck Traynor (Peter Sarsgard). The film follows her life through the production of her infamous Deep Throat and the abusive relationship with Traynor whom she marries  spearheading the feminist anti porn movement.

The Good folks at Lionsgate Films UK have sent us over these 2 clips first called ‘Chuck’s Home Movies‘ which show Linda (Seyfried) auditioning in front of director/producers  Gerry Diamano (Hank Azaria) and Butchie Peraino (Bobby Canavale). In the second clip Linda’s Photoshoot‘ Linda poses for Thomas (Wes Bentley) for images used in the film’s marketing.

Lovelace will be released in UK&Ireland from 23rd August, stay tuned we’ll have a review coming shortly. The film also stars Sharon Stone, Robert Patrick, James Franco, Adam Brody and Juno Temple.

Synopsis

The life of LINDA LOVELACE (Amanda Seyfried) told through the production of ‘Deep Throat’, her abusive relationship with Chuck Traynor (Peter Sarsgaard) and eventual spearheading of the feminist anti-pornography movement.
Linda Lovelace gets under the all-consuming influence of her abusive husband and self-declared manager, Chuck Traynor, who uses all means possible to persuade her to comply with his demands. The fragile woman becomes an infamous porn star, seems to be happy, but eventually breaks free from her husband and discloses the truth in order to prevent other women from getting similarly exploited.
