LIFF 2011: Day 8 Video Highlights From BFI 55Th London Film Film Festival

As Day 9 ends BFI release online the daily video highlights of the day before for  BFI London Film Festival. On Day 8 of the 55th BFI London Film Festival, The Ides of March was the American Express Gala attended by director, actor and co-writer George Clooney, and co-stars Evan Rachel Wood and Philip Seymour Hoffman.

The Ides of March takes place during the frantic last days before a heavily contested Ohio presidential primary, when an up-and-coming campaign press secretary (Ryan Gosling) finds himself involved in a political scandal that threatens to upend his candidate’s shot at the presidency. Also starring George Clooney, Paul Giamatti and Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Dexter Fletcher took part in a Masterclass exploring his directorial debut Wild Bill as part of the LFF Education programme, and Azazel Jacobs presented his latest film Terri.
