BFI daily video highlights package has arrived, The Vodcast at the end of day 7 we have yesterday’s 6th day memories. On Day 6 of the 55th BFI London Film Festival, We Need To Talk About Kevin was the Time Out Special Screening, attended by director Lynn Ramsey, actor Ezra Miller, author Lionel Shriver and writer Rory Kinnear.

WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT KEVIN, directed by Lynne Ramsay, will open in cinemas across the UK on 21 October through Artificial Eye, following its highly acclaimed World Premiere at the recent Cannes Film Festival.

Eva puts her ambitions and career aside to give birth to Kevin. The relationship between mother and son is difficult from the very first years. When Kevin is 15, he does something irrational and unforgiveable in the eyes of the entire community. Eva grapples with her own feelings of grief and responsibility. Did she ever love her son? And how much of what Kevin did was her fault?

Academy Awardยฎ winner Tilda Swinton (I Am Love, Michael Clayton) stars alongside Academy Awardยฎ nominee John C. Reilly (Chicago) and Ezra Miller (TVโ€™s Californication). BAFTA winner Lynne Ramsay (Ratcatcher, Morvern Callar) and Rory Stewart Kinnear wrote the script, based on Lionel Shriverโ€™s novel of the same name, the Winner of the Orange Prize for Fiction. Seamus McGarvey is the Director of Photography and the music score is by Jonny Greenwood.

Lebanese actor and director Nadine Labaki presented her latest film Where Do We Go Now, and cinematographer Barry Ackroyd gave a Masterclass at BFI Southbank, presented in partnership with Swarovski.
