Let’s Get Into The Beat With The U.S Trailer For On The Road

We see many coming of age stories many pass without notice others very forgettable affairs but if you were to pick an ultimate story,one that redefined a generation inspiring so many people, a journey of self discovery it has to be Jack Kerouac’s On The Road. After many years attempting to bring the cult book to the big screen Francis Ford Coppola has passed the honours to Walter Salles who will bring the film version of a book the moulded American culture as we know it and tonight we have the first full American trailer.

Earlier this month we brought you the UK trailer which gave us a different perspective but now the American version is here it does actually feel a little more upbeat.It seems  Salles has been playing with the film in the editing suite after its mixed reviews at Cannes he cut, added remixed and hopefully a more flowing film, a film we will be watching very shortly ourselves (stay tuned for our review in coming weeks). The overall look looks visually beautiful, energetic, great music  really capturing the era.

starring Garrett Hedlund,Kristen Stewart,  Sam Riley, Amy Adams, Kirsten Dunst, Viggo Mortensen, Terrence Howard, Tom Sturridge, Danny Morgan, Alice Braga, Steve Buscemi and Elisabeth Moss. On The Road will be released in UK&Ireland 12th October, with December 21st the U.S release date.
