Let The Bodies Hit The Floor – Yellowjackets Trailer Teases a Wild Third Season

Showtime has released the trailer for Season 3 it’s hit survival, horror show Yellowjackets.

The third season is long awaited, as the last season premiered in 2023, and it was delayed by the strikes but finally hits screens next month.

The trailer, set to “Bodies” by Drowning Pool, features cannibalism, in-fighting and literal back stabbing. Still operating in dual timelines, the 90s timeline features the Yellowjackets continuing to fight for survival after a brutal winter. Meanwhile, in the present day, still reeling from the death of one of their own, the survivors are forced to uncover secrets they thought were buried for good.

The ensemble cast includes Melanie Lynskey (The Last of Us), Christina Ricci (Wednesday), and Tawny Cypress (Unforgettable). Along with Lauren Ambrose, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Nélisse, Samantha Hanratty, Sophie Thatcher, Courtney Eaton, and Liv Hewson.

Season 3 will also feature appearances from Oscar Winner Hilary Swank and former cast member Ella Purnell (Fallout), who can both be glimpsed in the trailer.

Part survival epic, part psychological horror and part coming-of-age drama, this is the story of a team of wildly talented high school girls’ soccer players who survive a plane crash deep in the remote northern wilderness. The series chronicles their descent from a complicated but thriving team to savage clans, while also tracking the lives they’ve attempted to piece back together 25 years later. What began in the wilderness is far from over.

Yellowjackets: Season Three will launch internationally with a two-episode premiere on February 14th on Paramount+.
