Lego Set To Release New Icons Dune™ Atreides Royal Ornithopter

Dune Part II may now be set for a March 2024 cinema release, that doesn’t mean you can’t head to Arrakis. Today LEGO announced it’s latest ‘LEGO Icons‘ release will be the Atreides Royal Ornithopter from Dune™.

This release will be its first ever build experience from the Dune universe, from Legendary Entertainment based on Denis Villeneuve‘s film adaptation of Frank Herbert‘s seminal work.

Measuring 9 inches (23 cm) high, 22 inches (57 cm) long and 31 inches (79 cm) wide,  Atreides Royal Ornithopter features a foldable landing gear. The set also comes with eight all-new LEGO Minifigures of key characters from Dune™, including Paul Atreides, Lady Jessica, Gurney Halleck, Chani, Leto Atreides, Liet Kynes, Duncan Idaho and Baron Harkonnen in his long robe.

The LEGO Icons Dune™ Atreides Royal Ornithopter is available to pre-order from today 24th October. The actual box set will be on-sale from the 1st February 2024, available for grand total £149.99 GBP ($164.99 USD) in store and online.

Dune Part II will be released in UK and Irish cinemas 15th March 2024 (watch trailer).
