Lego Set To Release New Icons Dune™ Atreides Royal Ornithopter

coming to UK Cinemas from 3rd November

Dune Part II may now be set for a March 2024 cinema release, that doesn’t mean you can’t head to Arrakis. Today LEGO announced it’s latest ‘LEGO Icons‘ release will be the Atreides Royal Ornithopter from Dune™.

This release will be its first ever build experience from the Dune universe, from Legendary Entertainment based on Denis Villeneuve‘s film adaptation of Frank Herbert‘s seminal work.

Measuring 9 inches (23 cm) high, 22 inches (57 cm) long and 31 inches (79 cm) wide,  Atreides Royal Ornithopter features a foldable landing gear. The set also comes with eight all-new LEGO Minifigures of key characters from Dune™, including Paul Atreides, Lady Jessica, Gurney Halleck, Chani, Leto Atreides, Liet Kynes, Duncan Idaho and Baron Harkonnen in his long robe.

The LEGO Icons DuneAtreides Royal Ornithopter is available to pre-order from today 24th October. The actual box set will be on-sale from the 1st February 2024, available for grand total £149.99 GBP ($164.99 USD) in store and online.

Dune Part II will be released in UK and Irish cinemas 15th March 2024 (watch trailer).
