School life is more dangerous than the underworld! This week, Crunchyroll will launch anime series Kill Blue, today you can check out the upcoming series latest Trailer.
Class will be in session this Spring with the series based on Tadatoshi Fujimaki’s weekly manga. Originally serialised in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump (Viz in the UK/U.S), Kill Blue tells how a legendary hitman’s (aged 39) mission gives him a second chance to reclaim his youth.
We’ve seen films of body swapping (Freaky Friday) over the years. Having a hitman who looks like Taro Sakamoto (Sakamoto Days) finding themselves in the body of a schoolboy sounds like an interesting prospect.
The voice cast for this one includes Yuko Sanpei as Juzo Ōgami, with Shunsuke Takeuchi as adult Juzo. Fuka Izumi as Noren Mitsuoka, Shuichiro Umeda as Kotatsu Nekota, Daisuke Sakuma as Shin Kohazame, Takeo Otsuka as Tenma Tendo, Shoya Chiba as Kazuma Rindou, Yoshiki Nakajima as Eiji Rindou, Atsumi Tanezaki as Chisato Shiraishi, and Yumi Uchiyama as Eri Wanibuchi.
Studio Cue is producing the series, which is directed by Yasunori Ide.
