The Legend Ends In 6 New Epic THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Banners
As Prometheus gives itself one final big push for next Friday’s release, The Dark Knight Rises has been gradually moving in where Ridley Scott’s film has been and its been a great week or so for the caped crusaders promotion. We had some great posters starting with the Fire Batman poster before 6 brilliant character posters arrived the same day and only recently there’s the film’s first tv spots and today we have some epic banners.
The six banners are going to be epic in scale like those big landscape standees we see at cinemas and the background imagery just looks amazing, suggesting that if this is Batman’s last flick on the screen its going to be a explosive ending!. The first banner shows Batman standing on top of a destroyed police car with the second with Catwoman on the batpod with things blowing up behind (but did she borrow with permission or without? mmm!). A Fire Will rise was the tagline in this weeks first poster Gotham does look like it’s going to be a warzone and the fire will rise you can see Batman in the next banner with his cap on fire Then we have Bane on top of a tumbler with his army behind him then you could say the best one is the last one with the caped crusader and Bane going head to head holding back their armies, We even have a close up of the pair face to face, awesome stuff!!!
In further news, it’s been announced that the U.S MTV Movie Awards new footage will be screened from The Dark Knight Rises with Christopher Nolan and possibly the cast in attendance. No word on exactly when this footage will be available online for Non American cinephiles especially when MTV block videos, but when it does come we’ll post it online, If you do have access to MTV USA Sunday June 3rd is when the footage will premier!
