Joseph Gordon-Levitt Going To Be The Riddler in Batman 3?

Well with the next Christopher Nolan directed movie Inception out next month the attention of what will be his project will be  surfacing itself once again. The talk will be will it be Batman 3 of his rebooted franchise or will it be something else, I’m sure we’ll know soon enough but as usual since the Dark Knight appeared the talk  of Batman 3 will be first post of call for rumour mongers worldwide.

Hollywood Life according to TotalFilm’s article that Joseph Gordon-Lovett is on the shortlist to be The Riddler in movie 3 of Nolan’s Batman franchise. You know directors always have there favourite actors/actress they like to use in many of their flicks and Levitt has just finished working with Nolan on Inception so the 2+2 makes 5 brigade have started assuming.

I have to agree with TotalFilm this would be a perfect part for him and in the era of reboots/remakes with younger actors in the main parts it would be good for him to be in it, as long as he can have that sense of dark humour and not to go down the pathetic route of  Jim Carey the boy will do good.

I do hope the Eddie Murphy rumour of him been the riddler is just chinese whispers but it is early days to start think about who’ll be in the casting as the movie is still in scripting mode with July 2012 release been penned.
