John Travolta Is The ‘Sherriff’ In New Mob Land Clip

Last month Vertigo Releasing sent us the UK Trailer for intense crime thriller Mob Land, today  we get a new clip.

The film stars John Travolta who is the local town’s sheriff, in a small town plagued by drug addiction.  He takes on two brothers : one a family man and his his brother in law who steal from the pill mill which ends in a man being killed. This sees the pair become targets not just from the sheriff, but the New Orleans mafia which see the family man’s wife and child being threatened.

The new clip entitled ‘Sheriff’ (Travolta) visits our family man Shelby. He does his best not to look shady and suspicious, however the focus pushes towards the other man. That man (played by Stephen Dorff), who Shelby calls him as his ‘sponsor’.

The story of a struggling family man who is pushed, through pure desperation, to rob a pill mill. However, when the job turns violent, he will find himself hunted by both the police and the mafia ruling over Dixieland.

The film also stars Shiloh Fernandez, Ashley Benson, Emily Tremaine, Timothy V. Murphy, with Kevin Dillon. Mob Land will be released in UK and Irish cinemas on Friday, 25th August.
