JK Rowling Approves The new death scene in Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 2*spoiler in post*
only 6 months to go the most sucessful film franchise of all time will come to a end with Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 2. After 10 years 8 movies July 15th 2011 will be a sad for many potter maniacs worldwide, it would have been a sad day too for all the cast whom many have bonded together like a family for so long but you could say its a relief as they’ve reached the end of the road.
10 Long years are nearly over and we’ll finally see the ultimate showdown between Harry Potter and the dark lord Voldermot as all good things (and bad) must come to a end.Avid readers of all the books will know alot of loved characters will meet a dramatic end and apparently one of those ends has been changed for the movie and Harry Potter News and Rumors have scooped the gossip up.

So who is it is getting a change in there death scene? Any guesses? Alan Rickman who plays Professor Snape his character will be dying a different way from the book and Harry Potter News and Rumors caught a extract from a interview with the movies art director Andrew Ackland-Snow:
“We wanted to change a bit where Snape dies. In the book, he dies on the Shrieking Shack, and we wanted to get him out from, not a conventional interior, but from that kind of box, to do it in a more dramatic atmosphere. We asked J.K. if she agreed for that to happen in there, because we hadn’t really seen it before. We made a crystal house, and you can see what happens in the boat house from there – Are you listening Harry? -, but also the school is in flames…and she loved it. Besides, it’s a very romantic place to die. Snape dies in a extremely good way, I gotta say.”
I havent read the books simply down to the fact it would take me forever to read them plus I didnt really get into the franchise until movie 3 and my enjoyment of the movies has grown movie by movie, but talking to fans of the book they do say Snape got a ‘easy’ death, so hopefully the version will ease that negativity. Ill admit Deathly Hallows Part one wasnt brilliant it was okay as it was simply a slow burner building up for what David Slade describes as ‘operatic’ climatic finish and its good thinking out the box but not overly offending the hardcore readers of the book. Peter Jackson done it with Lord of The Rings by thinking outside the box but still paying homage to the original story.
