Jim Carrey Is Back In New Sonic The Hedgehog 3 Featurette
Carrey returns as Sonic’s Nemesis Dr. Robotnik!
He was ‘smoking’ in his early days, next month Jim Carrey returns as Dr. Robotnik in Sonic The Hedgehog 3. Paramount Pictures have released a new short behind the scenes Featurette which he gets his head shaved for the role.
The new promo is entitled ‘The Doctor Is Back‘, with Carrey playing not just one Robotnik but 2! Next to playing Ivo he will be playing his grandfather Gerald Robotnik.
The cast (human and voice) also includes Ben Schwartz, Idris Elba, Colleen O’Shaughnessey and Keanu Reeves .James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, Adam Pally, Natasha Rothwell, Shemar Moore, Lee Majdoub, Ayla Browne and Krysten Ritter.

Sonic the Hedgehog returns to the big screen this holiday season in his most thrilling adventure yet. Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails reunite against a powerful new adversary, Shadow, a mysterious villain with powers unlike anything they have faced before. With their abilities outmatched in every way, Team Sonic must seek out an unlikely alliance in hopes of stopping Shadow and protecting the planet.
Director Jeff Fowler returns along with our all-star cast including Jim Carrey, Ben Schwartz, James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, Idris Elba, Colleen O’Shaughnessey, Natasha Rothwell, Shemar Moore, Adam Pally, Lee Majdoub, newcomers Alyla Browne and Krysten Ritter, with Keanu Reeves joining the franchise as Shadow the Hedgehog.
Sonic The Hedgehog 3 will be in UK and Irish cinemas from 21st December.
