Jennifer Lopez Seduces In Kiss Of The Spider Woman First Trailer

Roadside Attractions have released the first trailer for Bill Condon‘s Kiss Of The Spider Woman. Jennifer Lopez seduces the screen as silver screen diva Ingrid Luna .

The musical fantasy made it’s world premiere back in January at Sundance Film Festival. The reviews were strong with many praising Lopez performance, other less forgiving for Condon‘s direction.

The Kiss Of The Spider Woman is based Manuel Puig’s 1976 novel of the same name. Set in Argentina during the nations political unrest, a political prisoner recounting the plot of his favourite musical starring Ingrid Molina (Lopez).

Dreamgirls and Beauty and the Beast director Bill Condon returns to the movie musical in this dazzling Technicolor-hued fantasy. Valentín (Diego Luna), a political prisoner, shares a cell with Molina (Tonatiuh), a window dresser convicted of public indecency. The two form an unlikely bond as Molina recounts the plot of a Hollywood musical starring his favorite silver screen diva, Ingrid Luna (Jennifer Lopez). Based on the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical hit.

Bill Condon’s visionary new adaptation is based on the acclaimed 1976 novel Kiss of the Spider Woman by Argentinian writer Manuel Puig and the Tony Award®-winning Broadway musical of the same name.

The film also stars Diego Luna, Tonatiuh, Bruno Bichir, Josefina Scaglione, and Aline Mayagoitia. This trailer is the U.S Trailer and Roadside will release The Kiss Of The Spider Woman on 10th October. We don’t know who and when the film will be released in the U.K and Ireland.
