It’s been a while since we’ve had the Stath let rip his ass kicking skills, guess what we have one coming this year. Tonight Lionsgate Films unearth the First UK Trailer for Wrath Of Man as Jason Statham has a score to settle!
The Stath lets the bodies hit the floor once again with Guy Ritchie directing. This one is a remake of a 2004 French Action Thriller Le Convoyeur (Cash Truck). This heist come revenge thriller follows a mysterious man called H (Statham)who joins an armoured truck company that transports millions of dollars around Los Angeles. Not all what it seems.
It’s trademark Statham, if that’s a positive or a negative that depends how much you adore his films. Intense stuff, hopefully delivers some escapism.
WRATH OF MAN is a revenge based action thriller from acclaimed and innovative director Guy Ritchie (Aladdin, Sherlock Holmes, Snatch). This contemporary movie tells the story of the cold and mysterious ‘H’ as he goes to work at a cash truck company that moves hundreds of millions of dollars around Los Angeles every week.
H’s objective is unique and unanticipated, but is only revealed incrementally, utilizing a suspenseful and carefully constructed nonlinear narrative to lay bare his true intentions. Shifting across timelines and various character’s perspectives, WRATH OF MAN builds to a thrilling, tragic, and inevitably bloody catharsis.
The film also includes Scott Eastwood, Holt McCallany, Josh Hartnett, Jeffrey Donovan, Laz Alonso, Raúl Castillo, Post Malone, Chris Reilly, and Niamh Algar.
Wrath Of Man doesn’t have an exact UK or Irish release date, just ‘Coming Soon’. We assume Lionsgate are hoping cinemas will open soon before deciding the release date.
