Jason Momoa Protects In Apple+ Series ‘See’ Trailer

Netflix have paved the way for the future of television. It’s not just not all back catalogues of film distributors, original shows and films now. With no indication of Disney Plus UK release, Apple TV + will be the new kid on the block. Today the Trailer for ‘See’ has been released online as Jason Momoa protects his village.

The new post apocalyptic sci-fi comes from the creator of Peaky Blinders Steven Knight. An ‘Apple Original’ series looks mighty epic with Momoa as Baba Voss. He must protect his new born children who can see in a world which the population is blind thanks to a raging virus. The children’s existence threatens his tribe from the queen.

This looks highly ambitious, herculean and it should be as it’s reported to be $15 million per episode. True or not, with Netflix leading the way, challengers they need to take risks. Having majority of humanity blind and our main focus is intriguing. Looks perfect set up for Aquaman himself, a bit nuts mostly exciting, think Bird Box with warrior tribes!

Jason Momoa stars as Baba Voss, the father of twins born centuries later with the mythic ability to see—who must protect his tribe against a powerful yet desperate queen who believes it’s witchcraft and wants them destroyed. Alfre Woodard also stars as Paris, Baba Voss’ spiritual leader.

The series stars Alfre Woodard, Yadira Guevara-Prip, Sylvia Hoeks, Archie Madekwe , Christian Carmargo, and Hera Hilmar. The episodes are directed by The Hunger Games‘ Francis Lawrence.

Apple TV is coming to the UK and you can watch ‘See’ from November 1st.
