4th December 2014 essentially has become James Bond fans world wide favourite day of this years as movie 24 finally got an official title, cast members unveiled as Bond 24 takes a nostalgic ride to become Spectre.
This morning at James Bond’s celestial home Pinewood Studios London director Sam Mendes with Barbara Broccoli announced to the camera happy media Spectre is taking Bond franchise back to the classic era. After the franchises billion dollar success with Skyfall, it’s probably the first since Bond’s early days the buzz for the next film has been overwhelming.
For Bond fans who been with the oldest crime film franchise since day one SPECTRE will be no strangers to them as our Majesty’s finest secret agent has been plagued by them for years, a real thorn in his side. Who they are, is Special Executive for Counter-Intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge And Extortion. With the old enemy coming back into existence does that mean we may see the introduction of Bond’s old nemesis (Ernst Stavro) Blofeld, if this is the case who is playing him?
The cast was also introduced to 007 regulars Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw and Rory Kinnear. As well as the introductions of Bond newbies Christoph Waltz, Léa Seydoux, Dave Bautista, Monica Bellucci and Andrew Scott.It’s been gossip for a long about Waltz, Seydoux, Bautista where all joining and now it’s all confirmed the first question people will be asking is Christoph Waltz Blofeld?
The answer is we don’t know at this stage as he’s officially known as Oberhauser however the history of cinema especially recent times we have face this conundrum. Most recent been Benedict Cumberbatch in Star Trek Into Darkness with John Harrison/Khan, Marion Cotillard playing Talia Al Ghul in The Dark Knight Rises. Look even closer to home in Skyfall Naomie Harris was introduced as Eve later to become Miss Moneypenny. The smoke screens maybe up for now, maybe we’ll learn a little as we get closer to the film’s 6th November 2015 release date.
Here’s the official first plot info ” A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.”
Filming will officially start this Monday 8th December The 007 production will be based at Pinewood Studios, and on location in London, Mexico City, Rome and Tangier and Erfoud, in Morocco. Bond will return to the snow once again, this time in Sölden, along with other Austrian locations, Obertilliach, and Lake Altaussee.
