“It’s The Monster Mash” In New The Witcher Season 2 Featurette

Halloween might have been a few days, Netflix continue the theme with a new fun Featurette/Promo for The Witcher Season 2. Under the title of Geralt’s Monster Mash delivered with the classic Bobby Picket ‘Monster Mash‘ Halloween song to accompany it.

The Promo runs at just under 1 minute mark and concentrates on the monsters Geralt (Henry Cavill) has faced. The spotlight isn’t all on those monsters from season one, it has a few he’ll face in the new season.

The new video came with a new message…“The White Wolf takes Halloween as a personal challenge. But keep your eyes peeled for a few sweet treats… you won’t want to miss what’s hidden.”

Based on the best-selling fantasy series of books, The Witcher is an epic tale of fate and family. The story of the intertwined destinies of three individuals in the vast world of The Continent, where humans, elves, witchers, gnomes, and monsters battle to survive and thrive, and where good and evil is not easily identified.

In Season 2, convinced Yennefer’s life was lost at the Battle of Sodden, Geralt of Rivia brings Princess Cirilla to the safest place he knows, his childhood home of Kaer Morhen. While the Continent’s kings, elves, humans and demons strive for supremacy outside its walls, he must protect the girl from something far more dangerous: the mysterious power she possesses inside.

There is no confirmed date for The Witcher Season 2, Netflix are aiming for a 2021 release date.
