Sham 69 sung about ‘the kids are united’ when The Angry Birds Movie came out, the kids and Critics were far from it. Three years later, The Angry Birds Movie 2 is coming will they be ‘united’ or will it be more a ‘borstal breakout’?

Like it or not, a second film is on the way and birds are united with their sworn enemies…The Pigs! As they must unite to fight a new unknown enemy emerges threaten both islands.
Yes I know my opening lines were very negative towards the first film, it wasn’t great.However I’m not the targeted audience, children are. If they watch and enjoys that’s all that matters relevant of what an critic writes. To be honest the first film was not great, this doesn’t look any better. But somewhere things went well to merit a second don’t be surprised a third film.

The flightless angry birds and the scheming green piggies take their beef to the next level in THE ANGRY BIRDS MOVIE 2! When a new threat emerges that puts both Bird and Pig Island in danger, Red (Jason Sudeikis), Chuck (Josh Gad), Bomb (Danny McBride), and Mighty Eagle (Peter Dinklage) recruit Chuck’s sister Silver (Rachel Bloom) and team up with pigs Leonard (Bill Hader), his assistant Courtney (Awkwafina), and techpig Garry (Sterling K. Brown) to forge an unsteady truce and form an unlikely superteam to save their homes.

Featuring the voices of Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Leslie Jones, Bill Hader, Rachel Bloom, Awkwafina, Sterling K. Brown, Eugenio Derbez, Danny McBride, Peter Dinklage, Zach Woods, Pete Davidson, Dove Cameron, Lil Rel Howery, Beck Bennett, Nicki Minaj, Brooklynn Prince and JoJo Siwa. Directed by Thurop Van Orman.

The Angry Birds 2 will be released in UK and Irish Cinemas from 2nd August.
