Itchy Scalp? Frodo Will Help You! In New Red Band Maniac Trailer!

maniac2012

Whilst a famous brand of shampoo boasts they can help you get a healthy scalp Frodo Baggins has an alternative solution and all is revealed in the new international red band trailer for Maniac. Elijah Wood stars Franck Khalfounโ€™s remake of the 1980 William Lustig  American slasher film, of the same name playing Frank a manager of a Mannequin shop, a loner who seems to have a repressed repulsion with the opposite sex especially for their scalps! If you still see Woods as the charming Hobbit from Lord Of The Rings  your going to be totally shocked after watching this NSFW trailer, if you’ve had a squeaky clean image in the industry like  Wood your going on the right track starring in Maniac (like Sin City too). This trailer is frighteningly violent, very disturbing  and if your at work this is not a safe video to watch.

The film has been doing the rounds at many festivals whilst the early reviews where ok but now the film has been tweaked and this new trailer does give a more positive outlook on the film. This trailer really goes to town focusing on Frank’s side of the story than his victims setting the tone and atmosphere of the film. The film is been released next month in France but no UK, Irish or American released date confirmed yet  but expect early 2013, Maniac also stars Nora Arnezeder
