Insane Trippy Red Band Trailer For Danny Boyle’s Trance
Ever wanted to see inside the mind of Vincent Cassel? You can when you go insane in the membrane in the new trippy red band trailer for Danny Boyle‘s Trance. From the fast paced UK trailer to the hypnotic posters to the trip-tastic insanely Danny Boyle‘s latest film project just seems to get better and better as we creep closer to the film’s release next month.
James McAvoy plays Art Auctioneer Simon who gets persuaded into the theft of an expensive fine art masterpiece but only to awaken up after the heist with a bump on his head with no recollection where the now missing painting is. Simon now been dragged in the criminal world with a gang lead by ice cold boss Franck (Vincent Cassel) who is determined to find the painting and hires a hypno-therapist to extract that info from Simon’s mind.
Great to see Cassel as a badass gangster we loved him in the Jacques Mesrine films, as you can see from this trailer Danny Boyle is not scared to mix up the tone of Trance with different elements, its even like a homage of his Trainspotting days. So when you hear someone saying ‘your off your fucking head’ literately Vincent Cassel is!
Trance Co stars Rosario Dawson,Tuppence Middleton and Danny Sapani, film will open in UK&Ireland 27th March and 5th April USA.
Synopsis:
Trance’, starring James McAvoy, follows a fine art auctioneer who gets mixed up with a Vincent Cassel’s ruthless gang in the hunt for a lost painting. So, McAvoy teams up with a hypnotherapist (played by Rosario Dawson) to help sort his head out and recover the artwork. It’s very literally a psychological thriller.
