New year, ain’t about time we had some ‘Cage Rage’? Behold Willy’s Wonderland and Nicolas Cage finds himself up against possessed animatronics, watch official Trailer below!
Regardless how bad critically his films maybe nowadays we just love a slice of Cage wackiness. They are memorable in many ways and the more crazier they are, the more intrigued we get.
Cage plays a loner who finds himself trapped in a town, unable to pay the repairs for his car. In return for payment he decides to spend a night cleaning up an abandoned amusement centre Willy’s Wonderland that holds a dark secret and he finds himself trapped in with possessed animatronics! – “He’s not trapped in here with them. They’re trapped in here with him!”
This is one film we don’t really need to watch this trailer we where sold on this first time we heard about it! Go on then, let’s watch this, it’s bonkers!
A quiet loner (Nic Cage) finds himself stranded in a remote town when his car breaks down. Unable to pay for the repairs he needs, he agrees to spend the night cleaning Willy’s Wonderland, an abandoned family fun center. But this wonderland has a dark secret that the “The Janitor” is about to discover. He soon finds himself trapped inside Willy’s and locked in an epic battle with the possessed animatronic mascots that roam the halls. To survive, he must fight his way through each of them.
The film also stars Emily Tosta, Beth Grant, Ric Reitz,Chris Warner, Kai Kadlec, Caylee Cowan, Jonathan Mercedes, Terayle Hill, Christian Del Grosso and Dave Sheftell.
Willy’s Underground will be released in the UK & Ireland on 12th February via one of the Streaming channels (Netflix, Prime Video or Shudder UK), The above trailer is the US release and if you live Stateside you can watch this the same day on VOD.
