In UK Trailer For Happiest Season Everyone’s Story Is Different

The festive season and Christmas especially is meant to be the most wonderful time of the year. In Clea DuVall’s Happiest Season MacKenzie Davis wants to introduce the love of her life, her girlfirend!

Entertainment One have released the UK Trailer that teases everyone’s story is different. Hopefully bring some joy into our lives and this rom-com is the first Christmas film that centres on a same sex couple. A film that the LGBTQ community film fans have waited for a long time, guess what it’s only a few weeks away!

McKenzie Davis plays Harper who is heading home for Christmas, she’s bringing Abbie (Kristen Stewart) her girlfriend with her. Her family don’t know she is gay and she’s gonna propose to her!

This has a big slice of feel good pie to it. The look and tone very much for everyone, lot of charm and plenty of those corny jokes make this one worth a look. DuVall is gay herself and having a gay couple as our romantic protagonists is a big deal and that film is for everyone.

Meeting your girlfriend’s family for the first time can be tough. Planning to propose at her family’s annual Christmas dinner – until you realize that they don’t even know she’s gay – is even harder. When Abby (Kristen Stewart) learns that Harper (Mackenzie Davis) has kept their relationship a secret from her family, she begins to question the girlfriend she thought she knew.

HAPPIEST SEASON is a holiday romantic comedy that hilariously captures the range of emotions tied to wanting your family’s acceptance, being true to yourself, and trying not to ruin Christmas.

The film also stars Alison Brie , Aubrey Plaza and Dan Levy. Also starring Victor Garber, Mary Steenburgen, Sarayu Blue, Ana Gasteyer, and Michelle Buteau.

Happiest Season will be available to rent or own from 26th November in the UK and Ireland.
