In The Brightest Day, Greenest Night THE MUPPETS Go Green Lantern Style For latest Trailer

Nothing better than a parody a chance to have a laugh at things that are popular or currently in the spotlight and thats what Disney are doing with THE MUPPETS. The first trailer was a ‘fake’ movie trailer Green With Envy the we had the Hangover 2 Fuzzy Pack Trailer and on the eve of its release we now have a Green Lantern parody! I’m actually enjoying these teasersmaybe its because the Muppets I grew up with and have a great appreciation for them but what Disney are doing is building anticipation for the movie and not spoiling the plot as well with these great parodies. If this is the route there taking, should we expect more for the upcoming big blockbusters? Transformers Dark of The Muppet? Harry Potter & The Deathly Muppets?  Captain America:First Muppet? Cowboys & Muppets?

We have a very very long wait until THE MUPPETS grace a British or Irish cinema once again, February 17th 2012 (USA November 23rd) however if your able to attend Empire Present’s Big Screen in August you can catch a preview screening along with Real Steel. The movie stars  Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, Animal,Jason Segel, Amy Adams, Chris Cooper, Jack Black, John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Zach Galifianakis, Neil Patrick Harris, Whoopi Goldberg, Katy Perry and thousands more!

On vacation in Los Angeles, Walter, the world’s biggest Muppet fan, and his friends Gary (Jason Segel) and Mary (Amy Adams) from Smalltown, USA, discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theater and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets’ former stomping grounds. To stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways: Fozzie now performs with a Reno casino house band called the Moopets, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, Animal is in a Santa Barbara clinic for anger management, and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing magnate.
