In Speak No Evil 2nd Trailer James McAvoy Wants A Family Like Yours
The Summer is seen as the time for family holidays. In the second UK Trailer for Speak No Evil it’s an holiday from hell for one and James McAvoy wants a family like yours.
One of the best psychological horrors of the past few years has been Gæsternem from Christian and Mads Trafdrup. Our horror aficionado Bradley Hadcroft did describe the Danish original version as “A beautifully barren piece of high concept horror with a conclusion that makes the ending of The Mist look like the closing number of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.”
The first trailer teased James Watkins version may take go beyond the twists of the original film. The new trailer near enough confirms things will get more unsettling and disturbing. Oh we do love seeing the dark side of James McAvoy, (seen before in the likes of Split and Glass).
In Speak No Evil, we meet an American family who are invited for a holiday by a British family’s country estate whom they befriend in a previous holiday. What starts as an dream holiday turns into a nightmare.

Speak No Evil will be released in UK and Irish cinemas from 12th September (13th September in the U.S).
