In New Outside The Wire Trailer Anthony Mackie Is Defiant By Design

Outside The Wire (2021)

Netflix have released a brand new  second Trailer for their upcoming Sci-fi action thriller Outside The Wire. Starring Anthony Mackie who is defiant by design, he’s a android!

directed by Swedish filmmaker Mikael Håfström (1408, Shanghai, The Rite, Escape Plan), we find ourselves in the near future. Damson Idris (Black Mirror) is Harp, an disgrace drone pilot who is sent on a dangerous mission in the deadly demilitarized zone. He has company in the shape of Leo (Mackie), an soldier who just happens to be an undercover android. The pair must find an doomsday device before a insurgent group get their hands on it.

The first Trailer was excellent (link below the trailer to watch), this actually delivers a better look of the film. It could potentially be spoilers, but it seems Harp learns Leo is no ordinary soldier. The burning question this trailer teases about Leo is may not always have been the trustworthy hero he’s portrayed.

In these lockdown harsh times we need some escapism. With cinemas closed, people will look towards streaming services for that escapism. Looking at this trailer, this looks, slick, exciting and looks good to deliver…
