In Clerks III UK Trailer They’re Too Old For This Shift!

CLERKS III (Lionsgate UK)

28 years after the original film made it’s debut at Sundance, Clerks is back! Next month Kevin Smith’s Clerks III will be released in the UK and the official Trailer shows the boys are too old for this shift!

From writer, director and star Kevin Smith (Dir. Chasing Amy, Dogma) Clerks III reunites Brian O’Halloran (Clerks franchise), Jeff Anderson (Clerks franchise), Jason Mewes (Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Mallrats), Trevor Fehrman (Clerks II) and Rosario Dawson (Death Proof, Sin City, Marvel’s Daredevil).

These guys might be older, it doesn’t always mean they are wiser too. We find ourselves with Dante (O’Halloran) and Randall (Anderson) once again as Quick store clerks.  Life hasn’t been the kindest to Dante as he had a heart attack. Reassess his life and decides to make a film about his life at the store with his friend.

When it came to those independent films Clerks always seems to be in many cinefiles lives.  A cult film that actually had a sequel that was loved too, could 3 be the magic number? The second sequel has been in the works for a long time, fans will be hoping it has the fun factor. Smith looks like he’s went for the Meta comedy route, especially as he had a heart attack himself back in 2018.

Following a massive heart attack, Randal enlists his friends and fellow clerks Dante, Elias, Jay, and Silent Bob to make a movie immortalizing his life at the convenience store that started it all.

Clerks III will get a will be released in select UK and Irish cinemas from 16th September.
