Idris Elba Goes ‘Underground’ In Trailer For Hijack Season 2
Apple TV have just released the official Trailer for season two of thriller series Hijack. Idris Elba seems to be going ‘underground’ in Berlin, so who can you trust when it’s all on the line?
I don’t have the streaming service, but I do know the first series which was released in 2023 was intense and very popular. An easy binge watch and looking at what we get with this new promo fans will be excited. Sam Nelson (Elba) once more makes it unsafe to go public transport, especially if he’s onboard!
In season one Nelson negotiated the safety of passengers on a flight from Dubai to London. In Hijack season two we find ourselves in Berlin, with Sam riding on the underground. Once again, he’s in the middle of a hostage situation. Can he save the commuters?
There will 8 episodes to the new season with Christine Adams, Max Beesley and Archie Panjabi returning. They are joined by Christian Näthe, Clare-Hope Ashitey, Lisa Vicari, Toby Jones, Karima McAdams and Christiane Paul.
Can they deliver the intensity of the first season onboard an underground train? It’s the challenge the creator must face, whatever happens it will have its detractors. It will have many who just want a exciting series to binge watch.
