Ice Cube’s Barbershop: A Fresh Cut Gets A Fresh UK Trailer

Barbershop A Fresh Cut Ice Cube

Need a haircut? Warner Bros. have book your next appointment for next month with Ice Cube‘s Barbershop: A Fresh Cut. Tonight we have a ‘Fresh’ new UK trailer, check it out…

In Barbershop: A Fresh Cut it’s been more than 10 years since our last appointment at Calvin’s Barbershop. Calvin (Ice Cube) and his longtime crew, including Eddie (Cedric the Entertainer), are still there, but the shop has undergone some major changes. Most noticeably, our once male-dominated sanctuary is now co-ed. The ladies bring their own flavour, drama and gossip to the shop challenging the fellas at every turn. Despite the good times and camaraderie within the shop, the surrounding community has taken a turn for the worse, forcing Calvin and our crew to come together to not only save the shop, but their neighbourhood.

It’s really hard to say anything on Barbershop: A Fresh Cut when you know very little about it. That doesn’t mean there won’t be an audience for this film and Warner Bros. believe there is. It won’t be a box office hit in UK compared to how it fared Stateside which has had a more positive response. Didn’t realise it was a sequel and a third film in the Barbershop franchise which backs the notion people will enjoy this third outing.Hard one to call but if you enjoy Ice Cube‘s filmography Barbershop: A Fresh Cut (aka Barbershop 3) this should be a film to add to your must see list.

Gear up for cuts and comedy with director Malcolm D. Lee (The Best Man films, Welcome Home, Roscoe Jenkins), and an ensemble cast of familiar faces starring Ice Cube (21 Jump Street), Cedric the Entertainer (Madagascar films), Regina Hall (Think Like a Man), Anthony Anderson (TV’s Black-ish), Eve (Whip It), JB Smoove (TV’s The Millers), and Nicki Minaj (The Other Woman).

Barbershop: A Fresh Cut is released in cinemas nationwide on June 17.
